On the occasion of the feast of Eid Al Fitr, the Christian Leaders of Cyprus wish H.E  Mufti  Talip Atalay as well as all Turkish Cypriots and Muslims living in Cyprus and around the world, a blessed feast.

“May the Grace of Almighty God be with you and grant all your prayers. We are all praying for the sick, the vulnerable and oppressed. Let His Peace rule in our hearts, so that we may seek peace and pursue it.

We extend our sincere greetings and best wishes.  Blessed Eid Al Fitr! Bayramınız Kutlu Olsun ! Eid Mubarak!”

The Director of the Office of RTCYPP was honoured to be invited to attend the Iftar dinner hosted by H.E. Ambassador Judith G. Garber of the United States together with distinguished guests including the Mufti of Cyprus , Dr Talip Atalay , President of the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce and the Director of SOS children’s villages.
"Our faiths may be different but we share in common the values of charity, community, gratitude, and our support for religious freedom” commented Ambassador Garber in her welcoming remarks.

2021 Easter Message from the Mufti of Cyprus

“On the occasion of the feast of Easter, we extend our heartfelt sincere greetings and best wishes to the Greek Orthodox Church of Cyprus and all Christians who celebrate Easter on May 2.
As Muslims we are still observing the holy month of Ramadan, where we seek forgiveness for our sins and pray that Allah, the most Gracious and Merciful, pardon our wrongdoings and accept our prayers for health, peace and prosperity for all.
May the spirit of peace, which is deeply rooted in our religious teachings, fill our hearts and minds nurturing a culture of forgiveness and coexistence among our communities!
